Lifting Resources

This page is a resource for lifters who want to be educated and learn from the works of educated coaches.  I personally endorse these products, because I have used them and I know they are solid.

I have been a longtime follower of Jim Wendler and his 5/3/1 programs.  I love his writing style and simple approach to training.  If you are looking for a great simple program his 5/3/1 book is a great place to start.  I made very substantial progress following his programs.

Beyond 5/3/1 is a more advanced programming book.  It is full of challenges, programs, and it is worth every penny.

Mr. Wendler came up with a 5/3/1 Powerlifting book that shows you how to get strong for the platform.  If your goal is to get as strong as possible on the Squat, Bench, and Deadlift this is the book for you.
